KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheer Jamali has taken suo moto notice of target killings and kidnapping incidents in Karachi.
As per details, the chief justice has ordered the Sindh secretary, secretary Interior Ministry and Karachi Inspector General Police (IGP) to submit report regarding Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Advocate Awais Ali Shah’s kidnapping report.
Sindh government officers will present report of Owais Shah‘s kidnapping and target killings report to Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Matters regarding Karachi peace and ongoing situation will also be discussed in today’s proceedings.
Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will chair meeting in Karachi Supreme Court Registry Branch as well.
