Hurriyat leaders and organizations in Indian Occupied Kashmir have widely condemned the brutal killing of civilians in firing by Indian troops on a private car in Shopian district.

According to Kashmir Media Service , senior APHC leader and Anjuman Shari Shian President, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement in Srinagar said, “Callous authorities while shielding killers are shamefully labeling the innocent civilians as Over Ground Workers.” He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.

Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson Aasiya Andrabi said, “The incident once again testifies that every Kashmiri Muslim is an enemy for the Indian forces. Even a naive person can understand that these youth were killed in cold blood and to shield the guilty, stories are being cooked up by forces.”

Other Hurriyat leaders including Javaid Ahmad Mir, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, Wajahat Bashir Qureshi, National Front, Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM), United Jihad Council (UJC), Employees’ Joint Action Committee (EJAC) President Abdul Qayoom Wani and Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) Chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan in their separate statements termed these killings as a part of well-thought out genocide policy of India.

Kashmir High Court Bar Association (HCBA) in its statement termed the civilian killings as barbaric and inhuman.

It said, “Army and other paramilitary forces of India, including Special Operation Group of police, are engaged in a well- planned and systematic genocide of people of Kashmir.”

Independent member of so-called Kashmir Assembly Langate Engineer Abdur Rasheed appealed to the world community to take notice of Kashmiris’ sufferings.
