KARACHI: The Covid positivity rate in Karachi is nearing 40 per cent.
The city reported 2,412 fresh cases during the past 24 hours.
The new cases had been detected after 6,124 diagnostic tests were conducted.

The health department said that the city’s positivity rate had jumped to 39.3 per cent from 35 per cent during the same duration.
Meanwhile, federal health officials feared the situation in city will change in the coming week as the positivity ratio likely to touch 50 per cent.
