KARACHI: The City Court’s Judicial Malkhana (storehouse of case property) is remained opened till late night violating official rules, Jasarat.com learnt here.
Sources said that the judicial malkhana is opened late in the morning at about 9:30am ad remained opened till late at night. The sources said that storehouse is often closed at about 11:30 at night by its In Charge Arshad Ali.

In this connection, SSP Investigation has written a letter to DIG, South, urging him to take notice of the violation of official timings of the malkhana.
The SSP said that the court proceedings begin at 8:30 in the morning but the malkhana opens at about 9:30, which hampers timely and smooth proceedings of court matters.
The SSP also expressed security concerns as well as chances of corruption in the wake of opening of malkhana till late at night.
