ISLAMABAD: Chinese President Xi Jinping has held meeting with top military heads of Pakistan and praised Pakistani military efforts for peace establishment in the region.
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa in a statement said that Chinese President Xi Jinping held meeting with top military heads of Pakistan to discuss bilateral relations and matters relating to defence affairs.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Air Marshall General Sohail Aman, Pakistan Navy chief Admiral Zaka Ullah and Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashid Mehmood.
On the event, President Xi Jinping praised efforts of Pakistani military for establishment of peace leaving strong impacts across the region and termed Operation Zarb-e-Azb as ‘game changer’.
