ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday (today) conferred top civil award Nishan-e-Pakistan to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In this regard a special ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
Jinping was welcomed to the Presidency by President Mamnoon Hussain and his wife.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Members of National Assembly and Senate, Services Chiefs and Chinese delegation.
The Nishan-e-Pakistan is the highest civil award given by the Government of Pakistan for the highest degree of service to the country and nation.
Earlier, the visiting President addressed joint session of the Parliament on last day of his visit during which he unveiled $46 billion investment plan in Pakistan
