China has welcomed unannounced visit of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Pakistan and his meeting with PM Nawaz Sharif.
Chinese Foreign Ministry said that better ties between neighbouring countries will help peace establishment in the South Asia.
The FO spokesperson said that China supported better relations between India and Pakistan.
It should be mentioned here that Indian PM had paid a short visit to Pakistan yesterday while returning from Afghanistan to India where he met PM Nawaz Sharif and other prominent ministers.
