BEIJING: Beijing on Friday strongly rejected the Western allegations that it had tried to cover up the severeness of coronavirus outbreak.
The country also dismissed the Trump’s allegation that it is enjoying close ties with the World Health Organisation.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that there had never been any fact hiding.
Earlier, the US president had questioned China whether it had maintained transparency since the coronavirus hit Wuhan.
