China lauds Pakistan’s sacrifices in anti-terror war

Mr. Liu Guangyuan, Director General, Department of External Security Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China called on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi at the Foreign Office today.

Welcoming Mr. Liu Guangyuan to Islamabad, the SAPM recalled the historic fraternal nature of Pakistan-China relations. He reiterated the unequivocal resolve of the Government of Pakistan to root out terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and highlighted the numerous sacrifices made by the armed forces personnel and officials of law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism. He also briefed the visiting dignitary on the outstanding successes in the on going military operation, “Zarb-e-Azb”, against militants and terrorists.

Mr. Liu Guangyuan acknowledged the important contribution and sacrifices being made by Pakistan in the fight against the menace of terrorism and expressed complete satisfaction at the ongoing cooperation in the field of counter-terrorism between the two sides.
