Eden Hazard’s move to Real Madrid is almost done in the coming days, according to reports in Spain.

Hazard’s Stamford Bridge contract expires at the end of the season and so far Blues chiefs have failed to persuade their top product to pen a new deal.

Reports have long linked the Belgian star with a move to the Bernabeu and according to Marca the deal will be completed within the “coming days”.

According to the report, Chelsea, Real and Hazard are all close to agreeing the transfer that will see the player move to Madrid on a six-year deal.

Stamford Bridge chiefs do not want to lose Hazard on a free transfer next year meaning they have been forced into the sale of the Belgian, who favours the La Liga switch.

Hazard has previously spoken about his “dream” of playing under “idol” Zinedine Zidane – who last month returned to the Bernabeu hotseat.

It is understood Real initially lodged a £68.5m bid with Chelsea, however, they were swiftly told to up that by the Blues.

Last year Chelsea reportedly demanded £153m ($200m) from Real, though the Spanish giants were happy to let Hazard’s contract run up thus lowering his price tag.
