ISLMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday directed Director General Rangers Sindh Bilal Akbar to call off Rangers personnel deputed on VIP security in Karachi.
Rangers have stopped snap checking, raids and started retreating security in the city. “How could you expect from paramilitary personnel to maintain security without powers,” he said. Nisar expressed concerns over creating hurdles for Rangers special powers.
