Chandio rejects expectation of Governor Rule in Sindh

Sindh information advisor Maula Bukhsh Chandio has rejected chances for imposition of Governor Rule in Sindh while he expressed hopes for long-term results after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s forthcoming visit to Karachi. He reiterated that Karachi Operation will continue till complete elimination of terrorists.

While talking to media persons in Karachi, Sindh information advisor said that a better resolve is expected after upcoming meeting between the Sindh chief minister and the Prime Minister over matter of Rangers’ special powers.

He rejected chances of Governor Rule in Sindh as its imposition will benefit only one or two persons.

He said that the Sindh government showed satisfaction over results after joint actions of Rangers and police. He clarified that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers were not involved in terrorism as the political party always fought against terrorism.

While commenting over Khalid Mehmood Soomro murder case, Chandio said that the provincial government has requested the federal government to try the case into military court.

He welcomed visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Pakistan which was needed to better ties between India and Pakistan. He said that Pakistan must not step forward from its stance over Kashmir dispute.
