ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over aiming to bring Karachi Operation into decisive phase. He said that positive affects should be witnessed after the targeted operation.
Sirajul Haq in his recent statement said that citizens should be made aware of actions have been taken against arrested target killers and other culprits. He urged that the federal and provincial governments should be on same page for success of the operation.
He advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to make announcement to bring corrupt elements into justice and calling dissociation with culprits who transferred looted assets from national treasury to their foreign accounts besides aiming to return their family assets to national banks.
The JI Ameer raised voice for provision of education and health facilities to the nation by taking control over annual corruption and unnecessary expenses that worth above Rs4,000 billion.
He said that the government failed to control power shortage menace across the country despite spending half of its tenure.
Sirajul Haq criticised the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over delaying implementation of recommendations of the parliamentary committee for electoral reformations despite rigging complaints came forth in recently held Lodhran by-election. He urged ECP to make earliest implementation of the recommendations in order to make election processes fair and transparent.
