KARACHI: The cellular services have been resumed across Pakistan on Wednesday after a daylong blockage owing to security reasons.
The mobile phone services were jammed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Gilgit Baltistan, Abbottabad, Shujabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur and many other small and big cities on the occasion of Ashura.
According to Interior Ministry, there were requests from over 50 cities to suspend cellular phone services on Muharram 9 and 10.
