ISLAMABAD: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) Thursday approved Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit project amounting to Rs 1.253 billion and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government’s extension project of Pure High Level Canal to be completed at a cost of Rs 10 billion.
The meeting chaired by Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Prof Ahsan Iqbal also approved a project to enhance capacity of Indus Water Commissioner Office, worth Rs 303 million.
The meeting referred the project of Green Line Rapid Transit System in Karachi costing Rs 24.6 billion to Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for approval.
The senior officials of the federal and provincial governments attended the meeting.
