ISLAMABAD: Questions have been raised over impartial moves of Capital Development Authority (CDA) by sealing offices of opponent political parties, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), in the federal capital Islamabad here on Tuesday. Whereas, offices of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) were independently continuing their political activities.

CDA made controversial moves by backing ruling political parties as targeted offices of opponent political offices in Islamabad. According to details, CDA enforcement department and police contingents raided several political offices situated in different residential sectors of Islamabad.

PTI and JI secretariats located in G-6 sector were sealed due to its existence in residential areas, CDA officials said. They added that any political office established in residential areas will be sealed.

On the other hand, CDA officials kept their eyes blind over secretariats of ruling political parties, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), that were situated in residential F-8 and G-6 respectively.
