ISLAMABAD: The National Health Ministry has issued new categories of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Pakistanis returning home to stem the spread of coronavirus.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), passengers returning from the countries included in A category will not be required to have the coronavirus test while those coming from the category B will have undergo the screening test for the virus 96 hours before boarding. All the passengers will have to present details of the previous travel and any disease.
Category A included Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and some European countries while category B comprised the US, India, Brazil, UAE, Russia, Spain, Columbia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, South Africa and other countries.
