Cash, cell phone looted in separate incidents

MULTAN: Two citizens were deprived of cash and mobile phone at gun point by armed outlaws in two separate incidents here on Monday.

According to police, Masood Ahmed of Chungi No 7 was going to Fountain Chowk on motorcycle when he was intercepted by two unidentified armed motorcyclists in premises of Chehlyak police.

They held him hostage at gun point and snatched cash Rs 10,000, mobile phone, ATM card, license and other documents from him and escaped.

In another incident, Muhammad Tariq of Allah Shafi Chowk was present in his shop near Shah Gardez in the limits of Kup police. All of a sudden, three unidentified armed persons entered into the shop. They held him hostage at gun point and looted cloths worth Rs 50,000 from the shop and escaped.

Separate cases have been registered in the concerned police stations.
