The streets of Paris were free from typical traffic on Sunday as Mayor of the city imposed ban on cars for a day.
The ban comes ahead of the city’s hosting of the United Nations Climate Conference, which takes place in Paris from 30 November.
Hugh Schofield strolled along the Champs-Elysees to see what local people think of the ban.
