LAHORE: Retired Capt Safdar, the son-in-law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has tested positive.
After contracting the virus, the PML-N leader had quit the ongoing election campaign in Gilgit Balistan and reached Lahore. He is currently under treatment at the Sharif Medical City.
Reports said that Capt Safdar’s lungs had affected due to the virus.
It is to be mentioned here that earlier PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira had also tested positive for coronavirus and left the election drive in Gilgit-Baltistan. Kaira has quarantined himself in Islamabad.
