KARACHI: PPP senior leader and Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has cleared that the arrest of Capt Safdar was not made on the directives of the provincial government.
In a message posted in Twitter on Monday, the PPP Karachi president condemned the way the PML-N leader was arrested from a hotel.

However, Ghani said that whatever Capt Safda did at the Mazar-e-Quaid was an inappropriate.
The PPP leader further said that the police’s action was a part of a conspiracy to create a gulf among the member parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
