Calbuco volcano blankets towns with ash in Cheli, Argentina

SANTIAGO: Many towns were covered with ash in Chile and Argentina as Calbuco volcano erupted two days ago in Southern Chile.

The plume, smoke and ash spread 10 kilometers into the sky. Official evacuated the people immediately, lived within 21 kilometer radius from the volcano. Three feet ash layer found at many areas in Chile and Argentina.

The volcano released thick cloud of ash into the sky on Wednesday and seven hours later the volcano erupted again and discharged lava and volcanic lightning. No casualties or injured were reported yet.
