ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that if the prime minister could not get a vote of confidence on Saturday, the cabinet would be dissolved.

Talking to a local TV, Sheikh Rasheed said that if the cabinet is dissolved due to lack of vote of confidence, then Imran Khan will continue to work till the election of the next Prime Minister.

He said that the institutions remained neutral in the Senate elections while the statement of Asif Ali Zardari was true that less people were sold than he expected.

Sheikh Rashid said that PDM would go to Punjab before the long march and hoped that Pervez Elahi would stand by Usman Bazdar.
