LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has announced a reward of Rs5 million for the police team that arrested the Lahore motorway gang-rape main accused Abid Ali.

The chief minister congratulated Punjab IG Inam Ghani over the arrest of the main accused in the Lahore motorway gang-rape case also announced a reward of Rs5 million for the investigation team.

Monday night, the main accused in the Lahore motorway gang-rape case Abid was arrested in Faisalabad.

Police said that Abid was arrested in Faisalabad and later shifted to Lahore for DNA test.

Abid had earlier managed to escape during raids in Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura and Fort Abbas.
