ISLAMABAD: Karachi Industrial Alliance has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction over the recently proposed tax on poultry Industry in Pakistan.
The proposed 25 percent tax to be imposed from next financial year on the Industry will further push the 700 million rupee industry backward as the tax would mean additional woes for the Industry as lot of people turn toward chicken as beef, mutton and fish are all expensive.
Expressing its reservations, Pakistan Business and Intellectual Forum asked the government to take back the decision.
