KARACHI: Rangers and Police in a joint operation raided a graveyard of Karachi and recovered a huge cache of buried weapons.
According to police, the raid took place on the information provided by an arrested suspect belonging to a political party.
Klashinkovs, bullets and mortar bombs were recovered by Rangers and police from Gulbahar area’s Khaji Ground graveyard.
The suspect Fareeduddin works for medical aid committee of a prominent political party and was also an employee of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Fareed was remanded in Rangers custody for 90 days by an Anti-Terrorism Court.
