KARACHI: At least 20 shops were looted by some unidentified robbers in Empress Market in Saddar.
According to shopkeepers, the unknown thieves have taken cash by breaking the padlocks of shops from Empress Market which was sealed by security forces to avoid unpleasant incident during Muharram procession.
The affected businessman said that at least 10 thieves have committed crime and escaped from the crime scene. The theft has raised question mark over security agencies. The crime took place at Preedy police Station jurisdiction. —INP
