Minister of Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said that federal budget 2015-16 would be presented on June 5 and it would also be ‘national-friendly’ just like previous budget.
Pervaiz Rasheed while talking to reporters in Islamabad said that the federal government has transferred relief to the nationals after significant reduction of petrol prices in international market. He said that electricity rates were also decreased in the country.
Commenting over Daska incident, he surprises everyone when said that Punjab province is not burning as peaceful protests were organised in the province. He added that the government made immediately action against killing of lawyers. He said that it was a sorrowful incident while locals expressed their outrage over the incident.
Rasheed said that the government wanted a transparent appointment of chairman of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA).
The information minister said that current government has not issued license to Bol and security clearance was returned in this tenure.
