Buddhist rulers want to eliminate Rohangiya Muslims through genocide in Burma,Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the Buddhist rulers in Burma want to eliminate Rohangiya Muslims through genocide.

He expressed these views while meeting with a delegation of Pak Rohangiya Organization (Burmi Muslims) at Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Wednesday.

The delegation was led by Zabi-ullah Qureshi while others included Maulana Mamoon-ur-Rasheed, Master Noor-ul-Islam, Muhammad Tahir, Hafiz Hameed Hussain and others.

The delegation was informed the JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman about the inhuman act of Buddhist government on Rohangiya Muslims in Burma.

The delegation apprised the JI Karachi Ameer that none of the countries ready to give refugee to the Rohangiya Muslim except Turkey, who sent its naval fleet to evacuate the Rohangiya Muslims from Burma.

It further said that the Buddhist government in Burma has set ablaze the houses of Rohangiya Muslim and impose ban on women veil adding that the Buddhist government in its cruel act has locked the mosques and madressahs in Burma.

On the occasion, Hafiz Naeem assured his full party support to the Rohangiya Muslims and said that the party leadership was also being raised its voice against the atrocities on Rohangiya Muslims in Burma.

He further said that the Buddhist claimed them peaceful but has broken all norms of humanity and justice in Burma by carrying historical unfairness on Rohangiya Muslims.

He lauded the positive step taken by the Turkish government over the said issues, adding that other Muslim countries should raise its voice against the atrocities on Rohangiya Muslims.

Hafiz Naeem assured the delegation that Jamaat-e-Islami will raise voice against the brutal act of Buddhist government at all platforms and also writes letters to all rulers of Muslim countries including Burmese government.

One of the delegates Hafiz Hameed informed the JI Karachi Chief that around 40women including two of his sisters are stranded at Malaysian and Thailand borders out of them one of his sisters transferred to a safer place while 39women are still search for safe heaven.

“The lives and honors of those stranded women at stake as the inhuman elements are involved in selling the oppressed women”, he added.
