FEROZEWALA: A nine-year-old boy named Bubashar was killed after falling into an open manhole in Rehman pura area of Ferozewala.
The residents of the area rescued the boy from the manhole on self-help basis and shifted him to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed his death.
Open manholes in the area are posing a threat to the lives of the residents, but the authorities concerned have turned a deaf ear towards the issue as they claim that they have no funds for the purpose.
