A high-intensity bomb explosion rocked a commercial central left five dead and more than 20 wounded in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand.
The incident took place near Erawan Shrine renowned as an attractive tourist spot in the city.
Recently emerged photos on the social website Twitter showed damages post bomb explosion which resulted a large number of casualties.
The chief of Thailand’s national police told local media that the loud explosion in the capital city was caused by a bomb near a shrine.
