PESHAWAR: A bomb blast on Thursday struck place near residence of, Fazal Elahi, a Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
However, no casualties were reported in the incident while MPA Fazal Elahi remained safe in the terror attack occurred in Yakatoot area of provincial capital. While talking to media, Fazal Elahi complained for receiving threatening telephone calls for extortion money.
Police officials told media that no loss was resulted in the bomb explosion as the explosives struck adjacent house of the MPA’s hujra [residence].
The PTI MPA said the criminals were demanding Rs2 crore as extortion money.
