Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has suffered back injury ahead of World XI tour.
The pacer is currently playing county cricket for Essex has suffered a back injury, and as a result failed the fitness test, Essex Cricket said on Thursday.
Right-Arm fast bowler Sam Cook will be replacing the Pakistani fast bowler, as Essex prepares to take on Lancshire.
Earlier, Amir who was having a ball in England, was named player of the month in the Natwest T20 Blast. The swing bowler also made his presence felt at the English county after the pacer claimed a 10-wicket haul against Yorkshire at County Championship Division One.
