NEW DELHI: The BJP on Wednesday described the Congress as the “Muslim League Congress”.
Addressing a presser here, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra quoted Congress leader Ashok Chavan from Mahrashtra as saying: ”We formed the government in Maharashtra with the Shiv Sena on the appeal of our Muslim brothers. Muslims were saying that BJP is their prime enemy”.
Patra said that the statement from the former Maharashtra CM was nothing but an appeasing remarks.
