KARACHI: Pakistani off-spinner Bilal Asif has left on Sunday for biomechanics test at the ICC accredited bio-mechanic laboratory in Chennai, India.
He will join Test squad after his bowling action tests in Chennai for which Pakistan cricket team manager Intikhab Alam is optimistic.
Alam has expressed confidence on Asif’s bowling action. ‘I am 99.9 per cent confident that Bilal Asif’s bowling action will be cleared in the bowling assessment Test,’ Alam said.
He said he had closely watched the videos of Bilal’s bowling action and also spoken to International Cricket Council (ICC) officials about it.
