HYDERABAD: Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Moula Bux Chandio Tuesday called for following the thoughts of PPP founder chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for continuity of the democratic process in the country.

He was speaking as a chief guest at a ceremony organized by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) local chapter here at Hyderabad Press Club in connection with the ‘Black Day’.

Chandio said on July 5, 1977, a dictator had derailed the democracy. The politics of bullet, linguistic problems and extremism were also promoted during the same dictatorial regime which caused great damage to the country and now there was need to bring the country out of all such crises, he added.

He opined that such visions should be promoted which could ensure a strong federation and remove sense of deprivation among the provinces.

Local PPP leaders Irfan Gul Magsi, Fayyaz Shah, Pasha Qazi, Barkat Babbar, Azhar Siyal, Andleeb Abro, Najeeb Abro and Noorun Nisa Abro were also present on the occasion.
