KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that the allegations leveled against Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the recent BBC report are of serious nature as it means Indian agency can disturb Karachi peace at will.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi after visiting heatwave victims in Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital, Khan said that the allegations of getting funds from Indian intelligence agency RAW amounts to treason calling for the matter to be thoroughly investigated.
He maintained that if MQM does not sue BBC, it will mean India is behind all the riots in Karachi.
“Sindh’s Royal family has fled the country at this hour of need”, said Khan referring to PPP’s top leadership.
