RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday suspended arrest warrant and proclaimed offender order against member of investigation team SSP Tahir Ayub over his appearance in the court in Benazir Bhutto murder case.
The hearing of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto murder case was to be held in ATC but the case could not be proceeded as the judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth was on leave.
During the hearing SSP Tahir Ayub, member of joint investigation team in the case appeared before the court and duty judge suspended the arrest warrant and proclaimed offender order earlier issued by ATC judge Rai Ayub against SSP over multiple absence in the court in previous hearing of BB murder case.
The court ordered the SSP to ensure appearance before the court in next hearing and adjourned the case till October 26.
