He said that he would soon end his alliance with the government in the National Assembly, Senate and Balochistan and would sit on the opposition benches and record his protest.
Bilawal Afridi said that the chief minister did not invite them to the meeting of elected representatives of the merged districts.
He said that injustice was being done to them, funds were being given to PTI members and he was in touch with the BAP’s senior leadership.
It should be noted that Balochistan Awami Party has four members in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Bilawal Afridi is the parliamentary leader.
It may be recalled that the Balochistan Awami Party is part of the ruling coalition in the centre, Balochistan, while the BAP has given the final decision to parliamentary leader Khalid Magsi after a no-confidence motion was filed against the prime minister.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi admitted that all the allies of the government were leaning towards the opposition.
In an interview to a private TV channel, the anchor asked Pervaiz Elahi, “Are all the allies of the government leaning towards the opposition?”. Elahi replied, “One hundred percent!”
The Punjab Assembly speaker further said that it is the duty of Khan Sahib to reverse the inclination.
It may be recalled that the opposition has filed a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly Secretariat while the campaign to remove Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has also gained momentum in Punjab.
The opposition is committed to the success of the no-confidence motion and claims that the coalition parties of the government are with them and their numbers are perfect.
