Bangladesh govt violating trilateral deal by executing JI leadership: Baloch

HYDERABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch slammed the Bangladeshi government over violating trilateral agreement by executing JI leadership. He demanded the Pakistani government to formally protest over the back-to-back execution of JI leadership in Bangladesh.

He was expressing his thoughts while addressing participants of sit-in organised before building of Hyderabad Press Club (HPC) here on Friday.

He praised bravery of the JI Bangladesh Ameer, Motiur RehmanNizami who was pronounced to death by the controversial Bangladeshi court. He also praised the brave leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh who provided great sacrifices to end influences of India and security of Pakistan. He added Professor GhulamAzam, Ali Ahsan Mujahid, Mullah Abdul Qadir and other JI leaders showed outstanding courage by accepting death instead of kneeling down before the riot Bangladeshi government. He said every individual has legal and constitutional right to submit review petition against penalties in the court. Baloch expressed sorrow over dismissal of review petition by the local court regarding death penalty of MotiurRehmanNizami.

JI Secretary General reminded it is a trilateral deal between Pakistan, India and Bangladesh which is being violated through the latest developments. Baloch demanded Pakistan to protest over violation of the trilateral agreement as Bangladesh made the violation over influences of India.

The JI central leader warned the Pakistani government that Bangladesh authorities are now making preparations to impose cases of war crimes on former military officers besides filing case to recover its assets from Pakistan. He added criminal silences of the Pakistani government will be hazardous for whole nation. He urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to play role for stopping executions of patriotic Pakistanis present in Bangladesh instead of keeping silence to rich friendship with Indian PM NarendraModi.

The sit-in was also attended by JI central leadership including JI Sindh Ameer, DrMerajul Huda Siddiqui, Secretary MumtazHussainSehtu, Abdul Waheed Qureshi, Eng. Hafiz Tahir Majeed, Lutfullah Bhutto and Dr. SaidurRehman also addressed the participants.
