DUBLIN: United Nations Chief Ban Ki-Moon has said that the Europe must help migrants crossing the Mediterranean.
While addressing a joint press conference in Dblin with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Ban Ki-Moon said Europe should hold search and rescue operation in the Mediterranean Sea.
He urged European leaders to address the issue in a more comprehensive way.
The Europeans border agency announced that it would expand its search and rescue operation to help cope with the upsurge in migrants trying to reach Europe.
