MULTAN: Dozens of Baloch students held a long march from Multan to Islamabad for the restoration of reserved seats of Balochistan in the universities in Punjab.
The long march was organised by the Baloch Student Council Multan.
The students demanded to restore reserved seats in the universities in Punjab for the students of Balochistan.
They also urged the authorities concerned to reinstate the scholarships earmarked for the students from Balochistan, DG Khan and erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Area (Fata) at the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) in Multan.
Earlier, the students had set up a protest camp outside the BZU for about six weeks for the acceptance of their demands.
