Baloch struck rapprochement between two families in their enmity

LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has successfully struck rapprochement between two families in their enmity arising out of the accidental killing of a young student at a local University some time ago, at the hands of a youth from Lower Dir.

The aggrieved party at a peace Jirga held in the office of the former President of the Lower Dir District Bar announced pardon for the accused declaring the death an accident and the Will of Allah.

Talking to the media on the occasion, Liaqat Baloch thanked the residents of Dir, Buner and Malakand for showing full confidence in the JI and said that the JI was proud of them.

He said it was in the interest of the Khyber P. government to set up universities at Dr, Chitral and Buner. He said the hurdles in the appointment of teachers for Islamic education should be removed and Urdu be introduced as compulsory subject as national language.

Liaqat Baloch called upon the KP Chief Minister to proceed action against the corrupt MD of the Bank of Khyber as already promised by him.
