Baligh invites Chinese universities to open campuses in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Engr. Muhammad Balighur Rehman Wednesday invited Chinese universities to open up their campuses in Pakistan.

In meeting with Chinese delegation headed by Mr. Sun Xiaobing Director General of Department of Policies and Regulations China, he said the students and teachers exchange programs and cooperation in research and science would be mutually beneficial for both the countries.

The delegation was an investigating group of education policy on “One Belt one Road” by Ministry of Education China, said a press release here.

The purpose of the visit was to facilitate the implementation of “The Education Action of Promoting Co construction of One Belt One Road”.

They want to investigate about the general situation of education in Pakistan, Iran and Uzbekistan.

The minister told the delegation about current situation of the education in Pakistan along with the new and ongoing programs of federal education.

Moreover, he appreciated the collaboration with Chinese Universities specially in technical and vocational training.

The meeting was attended by the federal education secretary and other officials of the ministry.
