DHAKA: A baby was born here with a rare medical condition that causes his face to resemble that of an elderly man’s.
The baby was born with an extremely rare genetic disorder called Progeria at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, which results in the newborn having an elderly man’s face from the moment it is born.
Children suffering from progeria syndrome appear to age faster than usual. There is no cure or treatment for the disease as of now.
