Pakistan captain Babar Azam has achieved another milestone in the third T20I game against New Zealand.

Babar Azam became the highest run-scoring captain in T20 Internationals. He broke the record of Australia’s Aaron Finch, who had scored 2, 362 runs in 76 innings as a captain.

The Pakistan skipper achieved this milestone by scoring the 28th run of his innings in the match against New Zealand in Rawalpindi. It was Babar Azam’s 67th innings as captain in the third match against Kiwi.

He has also become the first Asian cricketer to hit 400 boundaries in T20 Internationals. Earlier, Ireland’s Paul Stirling hit 407 fours in T20 Internationals.

Earlier, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has achieved a significant milestone during the second T20I against New Zealand in Rawalpindi.

Rizwan, in his 79th T20I inning, became the fastest batter to score 3000 runs in T20I games, surpassing the record held jointly by Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. Both Babar and Kohli reached the milestone in 81 innings.

Also, Mohammad Rizwan becomes the second Pakistani, after Babar, to score 3,000 runs in T20I cricket.
