ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) chaired by Speaker National Assembly President PIPS Board of Governors Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was held here.
The Executive Director presented the budget estimates for the financial year 2016-17 and revised budget estimates for financial year 2015-16 amounting to Rs. 210.960 million and Rs. 178.237 million.
The Board provisionally approved the budget estimates for Financial Year 2016-17 and revised budget estimates for Financial Year 2015-16.
The Executive Director informed the Board that PIPS Satellite offices have been opened at the provincial assemblies of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and Auditor General Pakistan has completed financial audit for the years 2013-14 and 2014-25.
Marriyum Aurangzeb informed the board of PIPS HR Review Sub-Committee report.
The meeting was attended by Zahid Hamid, Minister for Law & Justice, Senator Rubina Khalid, Dr. Meher Taj Roghani, Deputy Speaker Provincial Assembly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Marriyum Aurangzeb, Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan, Secretary Senate, Secretary National Assembly and Acting Executive Director, PIPS.
The Board will meet on May 10, for interviews of shortlisted candidates and appointment of Executive Director, PIPS.
