Australian batsman Rogers to retire after England series

SYDNEY: Australian batsman Chris Rogers has said that he planned to retire from Tests cricket after England series this year.

37-year old Rogers said that he was on track to finish his international career at the end of the Test series in August. He said, “I am very happy. I have been pretty fortunate to have this second go at it and have loved every moment of it”. Rogers had joined the Test team in 2008. His average run rate in 20 Test is 39.35 runs.
