Major General Bilal Akbar said the assailants involved in attacking Rangers personnel in Baldia Town will soon get arrested.
Rangers spokesperson said that the martyred personnel were deployed for security of Friday prayers at Abu Huraira Mosque.
He visited the site following the gun attack which left three rangers personnel martyred.
On this occasion he said there were six attackers who came to target Friday prayers but stopped by the personnel.
They will soon get arrested, he said after ordering investigation of the incident.
