KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday handed over Karachi Development Authority (KDA) officer Atif Ahmed to Rangers on a 90 day remand.

The KDA officer who has charges of illegal allotment of lands, China cutting and funding of terrorists was presented in court amid tight security.

The Rangers lawyer claimed that Ahmed confessed sending money to London through a relative of MQM leader Muhammad Anwar.

Atif Ahmed was arrested on June 26 from Malir town’s Liaquat Market and was shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.
